Aleks Fylymonchuk | Technical Support Specialist
JavaScript | ReactJS | Velo Developer
Welcome! I’m Aleks, a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist passionate about technology. Originally from Ukraine, I currently thrive in Warsaw, Poland. I’m fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian and have a B1 level in Spanish. Being multilingual allows me to communicate efficiently in different settings and connect with various people.
My career began as a Customer Support Agent in the airline industry, where I honed my communication skills and developed a strong customer-centric approach. In 2017, I joined Wix.com, quickly advancing to the role of Pro Bundle Product Support Specialist within the analysts team. In this position, I excelled at implementing and debugging code solutions using Velo, a powerful full-stack development platform based on JavaScript, along with REST APIs. This experience enhanced my mastery of JavaScript, improved my ability to work with HTTP requests, and made me proficient in debugging complex code. I also collaborated with various Wix products, including Blocks, CMS, and Studio. Working closely with the QA team, I tackled intricate issues and bugs, contributed to creating developer documentation, crafted code examples for Velo and Wix REST APIs, and played a key role in developing training materials for new team members. Additionally, I partnered with product managers and developers to identify and address product experience issues, driving meaningful improvements.
Currently, I am part of an exceptional Support Engineering team at Grammarly, where I continue to elevate my skills as a Technical Support Specialist.
With significant expertise in JavaScript, I can implement and debug various code solutions. I have completed numerous courses on Udemy covering essential topics such as HTML5, XML, CSS3, JavaScript, Git, GitHub, and ReactJS, including advanced concepts like Hooks, Redux, TypeScript, Next.js, and more. My degree in System Engineering has empowered me to learn quickly and excel in this field. I continuously seek out new courses and practice projects, eager to enhance my expertise.
